Poster of the Week: Moment of Terror

Here we have another of those iconic Front 242 posters, this time from the FRONT X FRONT era, and is titled "Moment of Terror".

This quote was used on much of the album and T-Shirt artwork during this time in 242 history.
I have written in the past about these items and the source of the quote:

The poster features classic 242 concert images, surrounded by the FRONT X FRONT era 242 logo, this time in blue (most of the time it is in red).

You can still find this poster on secondary markets, but it is sometimes hard to find in mint condition, as the glossy black is not very forgiving when it comes to pinholes and folds.

T-Shirt of the Week: 242 "Clock"

Up next is a variation on a previous Front 242 shirt. I call this the "242 Clock" (perhaps there is an official name?). The artwork itself can be found on the liner notes of the CD release of FRONT X FRONT, along with the "Moment of Terror..." quote.
I do believe that this is actually a bootleg shirt. I do not remember it being available for sale in the Transmission catalogue and there is not information linking this as an actual tour shirt, but I could be mistaken. Can anyone confirm this?

The shirt only has a front image, but it is quite striking in red and white. When wearing, people often ask me..."Front?...where's the Back?" Some people don't get it I guess...

T-Shirt of the Week: Moment of Terror (1989 Tour)

Continuing our look at early 242 clothing: up next is another early tour shirt. This one is from the "North American Tour 1989" and has one of Front's famous sayings: "The Moment of Terror Is The Beginning of Life", which of course is a line from the 1980 movie Altered States. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080360/quotes?qt0187616

This quote and the "242 Clock" artwork can be found on the FRONT X FRONT liner notes. The shirt is white with black and yellow printing. Once again, I obtained this one of the secondary market, so I would love any notes from those who attended these early shows or if you also have this shirt. Did it also come in black? (Seems like all the early tour shirts are white!?)
